Chairman Tim Goyder's letter to shareholders at the beginning of annual report was giving all the hints which we need to know. We all know these facts actually, Tim is just reminding again I think.
All his comments are inline with our discussions here. No BS.
"I can assure Shareholders that your Board has a laser-like focus on building value..."The most important thing for me that they know what they are doing, and their strategic thinking is exactly same with my strategic thinking. I am extremely happy to see that is confirmed by this letter again.
(Btw, I also give full credit to David Richards in the success of LTR as he is working very hard as the MD).
This is what I understand from his letter;
They exactly know the very high value of the KV deposit;
"The size, grade and location of the Kathleen Valley deposit make it stand out amongst its peers and has rapidly elevated the project to become the 5th largest hard rock lithium resource in Australia".
They don't say "in the world" for not making the African resource holders angry. LOL... Actually there is no other mineable resource larger than KV in the world atm, even with the current 75mt.
The 125mt resources size below is the targeted resource size by current drilling;

They exactly know the very high potential of KV deposit. They seem quite confident that it offers further growth;
"The current MRE forms part of a larger high-grade mineralised system at Kathleen Valley which has so far been defined over a strike length of at least 1km. The Resource remains open both at depth and along strike and offers significant potential for further growth ... At the time of writing, a resource expansion drilling program is in full swing and I am confident this will be a catalyst to deliver further value for Shareholders over the coming months".They know very well that they are a significant global exploration player atm;
"
...Liontown is ideally positioned to become a significant player in the global battery metals space through the construction of a standalone mining operation in a well-established mining district of Western Australia".
They are very well aware that lithium sector is facing with a pull back but it will come back strongly in the very near future.
And Tim is giving the hint; "...
interactions with prospective customers, we believe this situation (pull back in lithium sector) is temporary and that the long-term future outlook for lithium demand remains extremely robust".
LOL... what else he could say, he is saying that under the situation which he signed NDAs with those prospective customers.
"
... Company’s market capitalisation to ~$144 million at the time of writing – has coincided with a significant pull-back in the lithium sector. Based on our own market intelligence and interactions with prospective customers, we believe this situation is temporary and that the long-term future outlook for lithium demand remains extremely robust... Liontown’s timeline to produce battery grade lithium concentrate within 3-5 years will hopefully coincide with the forecast surge in demand for lithium raw materials".
This graphic I posted before was showing what is going to happen to LTR's KV project soon; Takeover or JV to be a vertically integrated lithium producer. This is my opinion indeed. Not a fact.

Now this part is the most important to me, demonstrating they are very well aware of what's happening in the lithium space;
This is their core of their strategy for being successful;
- being at the forefront of the next generation of lithium producers
- placing a high priority on metallurgical studies
- avoiding some of the issues currently being experienced in the lithium industry
- designing a flow sheet that will optimise grade and recoveries
- delivering a superior end product
"
Ensuring that Liontown is at the fore front of the next generation of successful lithium producers remains at the core of our strategy. The Company has placed a high priority on metallurgical studies with the objective of designing a flow sheet that will optimise grade and recoveries. We believe this ongoing emphasis on test work will deliver a superior end product, enabling the Company to avoid some of the issues currently being experienced in the lithium industry"
"I can assure Shareholders that your Board has a laser-like focus on building value through the completion of the PFS and subsequent DFS, with the ultimate goal to minimise risk and maximise return".
