I mentioned tesla's preference for low carbon mines because of their new found interest in Canada's Giga mine and what set it apart from other larger and more economical mines, and it's their commitment to minimise their carbon footprint. That's why, in my opinion, if a mine wanted to look attractive to tesla they should be aligning their goal of a greener future by taking material steps towards minimising their carbon impact. I'm not an engineer but I'm sure there are smart people out there working on low carbon lithium.
