As per my previous post, latest footage shows that the RAT (Ram Air Turbine) deployed and you can also hear it as the aircraft passes by which indicates loss of power caused by dual engine failure. I assume the experts Patong was talking to hadn't seen this footage as it only came out later. The issue now is what caused the incredibly unlikely event of a dual engine failure immediately after take off. Apparently there were reports of no evidence of dead birds in the crash area but of course all this has to be confirmed in the official investigations.
