We as a nation and a government spend more than we earn.
It cannot continue.
LNP are trying to turn the Titanic around.
It takes time.
All the ALP cheersquad members on this forum gave the previous ALP government 6 years to come up with a surplus, and made constant excuses about their performance in that regard.
You forgave the ALP for offshore processing, carbon tax lie, BER waste, Pink batts waste, cattle export overnight shutdown, GP superclinic failure, the list is so long my fingers would bleed typing them all down.
So the cuts have to be made. Deal with it.
You will all thank the LNP some time in the future for these cuts, the budget will eventually get back into surplus and who knows, we might even get to pay back some of the debt.
