Both of us developed flu symptoms after ,2 daysWhich became a chest infection bordering on pneumonia.
Both are in our late 60s and had the flu shot..
I assumed someone was in the XRay room with the bug, and it was our luck to walk in.
if we wore masks we would be well and not in bed for a week on antibiotics and steroids..
last year around this time masks were on most of the time because of Covid ....not one person I know had the flu.
I for one will always wear a mask for the rest of my days , in medical centres, and public gatherings... The flu kills more elderly people than Covid. But it is not sexy for politics like covid
