Interestingly I just enrolled in a Facebook project through the Appen project marketplace. Not sure what details can be shared, but it is related to avatars, face-tracking and how we communicate using their applications.
Personally, I think Appen is in the right space at the right time, and while there's clearly been a short term setback, in the long run, the industry thematic will play out to their advantage as long as they're proactive in foreseeing where their services will be most needed. Recent updates seem to show that to be the case, just need the proof in the numbers... cheers.
