I think they'll push forward a "Premium Version" with monthly fees attached & rip the free platform down to basics - how succesfull will that really be ? All facebooks active user data is based on monthly averages so an active user inturn can be as little as 1 log-in per month. On the advertising front plenty of people see how it has rapidly accelerated & although people here have compared it to HC you have to admit the FB advertising is FAR more intrusive than banner adds on HotCopper, getting closer to Spam in your email acc. with many pushing toadd you in their own lists. If people start seeing far more advertisements popping up than the friends they joined to keep in touch with they'll just get peeved & flick it - on to the next one.
