whilst I agree that facebook is overvalued, they do not necessarily have to solely rely of Facebook per se as their sole source of income. With the users around 900M, the brains, backers and the war chest they have, the online world is their oyster, much like Google. The internet has a lot of scope to generate revenue beyond Facebook, you just need plenty of brainiacs, $$$$ to harness, develop or buy the next big thing, Facebook have this. Regardless it will be an interesting few years.

Also worth remembering, different generations use it for different means and I gather most here on HC are over 30? Sub 30 have a very different hard wired brain due to technology they use all day, every day as a important and vital part of their lives. 900M people on your books is pretty powerful.
