Interesting.. In short : I have a small internet business that sells dental cosmetic products. Through google I have managed to propel the business to the top four posi through organic SEO and still have small campaign on sponsored links. It generates good business through google. I also have been apart of 4 separate deals through Groupon & Cudo. The deals ran for 7 days each and raked in the sales (just one product at a big discount). I put the same deal on Facebook advertising & given the fact that I could target demographics etc I thought it would be a no brainier and really be successful... Wrong.. I left it on there for 3 weeks and the sales didn't even cover the advertising costs. Interesting imo and if this is the case with my very insignificant small internet business then how would larger ones preform and what does my scenario mean for them? Never been a fan of Facebook and just can't see it as ever being in the same category as google/apple imo
