facebook likes

There's been quite a big increase in Facebook likes in the past 3-4 days, often over 500 likes per day. There's now over 20,500 likes overall for the Turbine. I know FB likes don't mean sales.

What has me somewhat curious is there's hardly been any FB posts or tweets by the company in the past week. So in many ways there appears to be nothing new to like or get enthusiastic about. Yet 500+ likes a day seems like a lot especially when leading up to and during Interbike it was often 200-250 likes per day.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on the sudden increase in likes given the social media side of things appears to have quietened in the interim?
