Seems very unprofessional to me. Asking the public to do managements job for a box of chocolates as payment. Never heard anything like it.
Ideas to sell more Yowies really aren't hard to think of. Why not have a competition to search for the golden Yowie? Whoever finds it wins a holiday to Disneyland. There's easy sales right there.
