Sorry to be pedantic, but traditionally 'Second World' refers to the communist bloc countries ...
Malaysia now aspires to First World status, but I doubt this will be intrrnationally formally acknowledged until matters like the international investment climate and risks are somewhat clearer, plus a cessation of continual allegations of high level corruption, etc...
