1) Seems like a pretty obvious benefit for OEMs, especially dronesout in the field dealing with new scenarios every day. Why waste all that potential learning? A CNN could be trained for hours and hours and hours and never experience half the events that one drone in the field could..
2) I guess everyone is going to try, autonomous learning seems like the goal to achieve
