I'd be totally lost with out the mobile phone and yes the smart phones are great for accessing the internet any time anywhere including emails.
I have a land line but make all my calls from the mobile, lol was not that long ago that mobile calls cost heaps, these days my $30 mobile plan rarely gets past 50% of my call and data allowance.
Don't use facebook much but where I use to read the paper while on the toilet I now check facebook. It's interesting being able to connect with people from many years ago
