Job Description
FACILITIES ENGINEER required by our Client, an International Oil and Gas Operator to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Scotland.
Duration:24 months

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Co-ordinate and project manage pre-development / early concept studies (including preparation of scopes of work & tendering). Early studies include
(i) Metocean data collection;
(ii) Subsea architecture screening;
(iii) Geotechnical data collection;
(iv) Metallurgy screening;
(v) Onshore infrastructure screening;
(vi) Gas management strategies

Interact with JVPs and review development planning work performed by others
Work with Reservoir & Petroleum Engineers to generate Reservoir Basis of Design(s)
Help prepare Exploitation Plan (effectively a Conceptual Development Plan) for Senegalese government
Work-up alternative development options (pre- Concept Select screening work)
Update & maintain project schedules for development planning
Update cost estimates (currently Que$tor models) to aid commercial evaluations and aid regional Exploration & Appraisal decision making

EXPERIENCE
Broad facilities engineering experience on new field oil developments and satellite tie-backs Deepwater, FPSO, subsea project experience ideally in West Africa
Good appreciation of marine issues, flow assurance & process simulation
