Moseley has summed it up pretty succinctly imo. .. Remember too that Chalmers and Brunt resigned from Heathgate not long after the extension was granted and the discovery announced (2005ish from memory). I've often wondered if there was more to their resignation than that business of contract price changes and their worry about being sued for fraud over that alone.

Things move on though and I see that the 2014 AusIMM International Uranium Conference in Perth on June 10th and 12 has Mark Charmers as chair (and representing PDN) .. but I can't see a single expert from Heathgate. Probably too busy following the trial :-) . Anyway the talks look pretty academic and esoteric in nature with university experts (including Chinese papers) included in the programme:
