Stocko, upon reading your concerns I revisited my notes from attending Dr Melrose's briefing at the Melb Hilton last year just after the companies 2003 agm. This is what I recorded when Dr Melrose was queried about a quote attributed to him in the AFR.
When asked about his quote in the Fin Review re not taking anymore orders at this point in time,other than that first $1 mill order from S.A., he said this is because until product is being produced ( then estimated to be Feb 04) they didn't wish to commit to too many sales orders ahead of time. A major reason behind this approach is considering they can initially only supply a small % of the mkt anyway, then they only want to place product in the hands of top professional primary producers. This made sense to me at the time, because 20 tpa only amounts to a production throughput of just over one and a half tonnes per mth anyway
