    lol.

Here's one from the Age, feb 11 this year.

"INVESTORS in small-cap telco Mobi Ltd may finally be set for some positive news, with the company forecasting an end to its sustained run of losses.

The market value of the Melbourne-based company, which has specialised in mobile phone applications and internet telephony, has halved in the past six months as quarterly losses reached as much as $1.2 million in December.

The prolonged weakness in Mobi shares, which last traded at 8.4¢, prompted its directors to announce a demerger into two listed telephony and mobile data companies, as they were convinced its assets were worth almost twice its then-market capitalisation of $18.6 million — $2.6 million higher than its current value.

But the share-funded acquisition of two phone installation companies, Sholl Communications and AK Communications, and an additional internet telephony company, OneNetworks, late last year had made a significant improvement to the company's finances, chief executive Michael Abela said.

"Mobi, as a public company, has been around forever, and certainly before the acquisition of these assets … it certainly was far and away from being a profitable company," Mr Abela said. "(But) we will be profitable in 2008 and 2009."

Mr Abela said the financial improvement was due to the expected doubling of new subsidiary Sholl's profit in the current financial year as well as the culling of 20% of its overall staff since Christmas, which he claimed would save $1.3 million annually.

Mobi has also put its demerger plan on hold to evaluate takeover offers it received for its mobile phone applications division, MobiData, which is part-owned by mobile phone retailer Crazy John's.

"Given the fact that we've had some interest from third parties we're taking that very seriously and investigating that at the moment," Mr Abela said."

I was going to send a please explain to the company but the websites still being built. ;-)
