Re: China Update Factory Commissioning

IMT’s Chinese joint venture, IETC, is in the final stages of completing the production line for the manufacture of Phoslock granules at its factory adjacent to Lake Dianchi, Kunming. The machines for the various stages of the production process are in place. A small amount of granules have been made to the specifications required.

IMT Australian personnel are presently in Kunming assisting in the commissioning of the plant. IMT’s technical manager will supervise the commencement of production to ensure the quality of the output and that all QA procedures are in place. Commencement of full scale granule production is expected in the next 7-10 days.

IETC has commenced the treatment (using Phoslock slurry) of a river adjacent to Lake Dianchi on behalf of the Lake Dianchi Authority.
