Vanadium flow batteries commissioned in China’s giant renewables project


This represents an interesting development for vanadium producers and is definitely worth keeping an eye on. The Zhangbei project is a massive renewables project located in Hebei Province, China.

It is the largest project of its kind, with built capacity of 500MW from wind and 100MW from solar power. More detail is provided in the release.
