I don’t see how the Average temperature in the US in 2017 can be a proxy for that of Earth in the same period.
And the reason. They’re different, or hadn’t you noticed. The US surface area is a tiny subset of Earth’s. You did know that.
I can understand someone deferring to an authority to get information and knowledge about a subject. But why choose one that’s so immediately and blatantly wrong as in the video you posted. That’s just stupid. Why bother.
