The QAR is a weird one considering the claims they have made.
Some of the quotes worry me.
"This work is running in parallel with the completion of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for submission to the PNG Department of Environment and Conservation."
"It is anticipated that these documents will be completed following internal reviews during the current quarter"
"An integrated rock waste and process tailings management facility (TMF) is being designed to be located in the vicinity of the Yandera deposit, under stringent criteria, to ensure that the highest levels of environmental integrity are retained."
It appears to me that claims that the DFS would be released in October were pure lies.
How can a DFS be released if they have no idea what they are doing with the tailings? Same with the EIA. And surely both documents should be complete pending the completion of the tailing section.
These internal reviews, what are they for? Why haven't they been done yet? I thought they were just running a spell check over them. Not redoing the content.
If I am being a bit negative why can't they release some forecast economics? Mining costs, plant costs, cash flow etc. A slight change is normal as a DFS is only a 10% estimate.
The QAR is a weird one considering the claims they have made....
