I smell a rat with the returns paid to 06 Beef project investors. The figures clearly do not add up! On claims of selling around 40% of available progeny pre June 30 which equates to approx 1.6 cows per drove, they want to tell us that our share is about $180 per drove (if you are GST registered). At two years of age, the progeny should have reached weights of between 350-500kg. Current market prices are in the vacinity of $3+ per kg cwt. I'll leave you to do the calcs.
