Failfax at it again

A national senator wants to start an inquiry into franchise. LOL yeh right let's have an inquiry into everything. My power bill has gone up, inquiry into energy sector, prosecute those morons who privatised our grid. Well you are at it, have an inquiry into health insurance too. Those imbeciles.

300 emails and phone calls from former and current franchisees out of 2500 franchises after this huge media hit piece. Pretty much those are all the failed or struggling franchisees.

Personally I hate to see people suffering from bad decisions but blaming it on others isn't the solution although it helps one feel better.

From where I live in lower north shore, the Gloria Jeans in the Westfield closed down but a new one opened outside on a street corner and is doing fine.

Michel's still there but I'm sure business has gotten tougher as several other cake shops, including a couple good Asian ones, have opened up. It'd probably do better if diversify into serving savoury food such as brunch.

Too health conscious to eat a donut, but the Donut King is still there. Guess there are always people that can't resist a sugar powdered donut.
