1) I disagree with Techmeister. I think he's chalked up a lot of things as total fails that IMO were not or where it's too early or unnecessarily negative to call them a fail, and then declared the sum of these IMO doubtful examples a compelling case.　

2) Techmeister has been one of the more informed posters here over a long time and has contributed a lot of intelligent commentary to this forum. He certainly has a right to voice his opinion here, even if it's not a feel-good one. I don't want this to be an echo-chamber full of unicorns and rainbows, and if some people are running out of patience, I can understand that and certainly respect it.
