Would it be possible the price of palladium is falling is partly attributed to new reserves of the metal coming online in the near future thanks to the discovery of a globally significant deposit in Gonneville? All of a sudden the world’s supply of palladium is no longer limited to Norilisk and South Africa and thus having a major impact on palladium pricing? Remember the Gonneville deposit is relatively shallow and therefore extremely economical (the South African reserves are almost 1km deep and there are mining issues with Russia’s Norilisk mine).
It’s probably too soon to speculate on the above but from the language Chalice has been using in the past year there is every indication it could become reality. But first we must wait for the MRE before we can get even excited. I have a feeling its going to be stunning and blow the socks off everyone in the global mining community.
All in my opinion only and not investment advice. Please do your own research.
