fair price for options?, page-9

Some valid comments made in this thread re the options, possible value and its relation the sp. For me, whilst I currently do not hold any oppies, but would like to if they retrace back to a level I am prepared to pay. But looking at both the sp and oppies whilst it is early stages after the proft taking selldown from the big end of town, perhaps and I do say perhaps as GF has no cystal ball, we might be in the beginning period of where the bulls and bears are just about in agreement on fair market value. Sometimes for whatever reason however, we may think the market has got it wrong, and it is during these times that we have to back our own judgement and either pull the trigger contrary to popular opinion, or just sit tight and wait for the next opportunity to buy. Personally looking forward Exb's posting on Bloomberg for some reading and analysis....
