i agree on beef demand - but its almost binomially currency driven in terms of price - usd goes up they buy from australia. usd goes down they buy from us.
run a correlation of the us feeder and the mla eyci and youll see what i mean
if la nina comes through though might get both rising as drought causes shortage for us domestic consumption
