This thread was started in Jan16 when BHP was around $17 and everyone like you was saying it was going to $10. BHP never went to $10. Two years later BHP share has doubled from its lows of Jan16.
BHP share price recovery has paid off for those who believed in BHP. Not sure what posters like you got out of BHP after being so negative about BHP since Jan16.
Who cares about the P/E? Its meaning less. In my opinion all research is over-rated.
It all comes down to just one key thing when it comes to investing which most of the investors don't understand yet.
