So they paid $2m which was tax deductible for a campaign that less than 40% support to try and avoid paying billions more in taxes that I am sure more than 60% would support given that Australian personal income tax marginal rates are some of the highest in the world and at ridiculously low thresholds.
Aussie personal income taxpayers are effectively subsidising BHP not paying billions more in taxation to the Australian Government.
That is simply not fair and should deeply concern all Australian voters and future generations.
They should forget the influence peddling, and pay the billions more in AUD that they should pay the Aussie Government and its taxpayers.
