With the share price hovering just above the $30 mark, one would think that Woodside could be takeover target. If a takeover offer was made, I reckon it would come from a Chinese entity. BHP-Petroleum already has enough eggs in this basket.
But the thing is though, is any current large share holder willing to sell at these low prices ? Shell certainly isn't in any hurry.
