I would suggest they are waiting for enough capital to become available before MC becomes a likely proposition, (whether using money from the options or not) and will therefore give such indications, as they did with CD. once the debt is gone and cash sweep obligations are over. As you say yourself there is 5-6 years supply in the meantime.
