Could someone please possibly tell me why a bank would take a figure higher than the the current share price or the share price over the last couple of months.
Essentially Centro is asking them to do them a favour by extending the loans. Then they are asking for them to say that the shares are essentially worth many multiples of where they are currently trading.
Is it just me or are people thinking that Centro could be asking for a bit too much?
Why should the bank use the NTA or earnings or any other method?
I recall reading last week about a different method where I believe the banks would be given interests in certain centres. If that is the case I feel it would be much much much better. I dont know if it is true or just a rumour, but it certainly sounded better.
