There may be some clause in the CNNC 25% that impedes that from some of the things I've read, although it might not be a show stopper.
I think the 2 best options are:
CNNC option gets quickly slapped down legally (or they withdraw it) and the restructure goes ahead.
CNNC come back and say they'll offer the original $175m offer and there's a $75m raising.
Beyond that - CNNC take the rest of LHM and pay US$500m and take on the EDF supply or CNNC pay US$800m+
Not sure how likely any of these are over others and of course the nay sayers here may end up being right and poor old PDN may never trade again and we all wave goodbye to our hard earned :/
