Fair value? I stick to my $1bn for 75% of LHM from a week ago.
Not much has happened in the past week to change my view.
Remember that the low offer of only USD175M was for only 24% of LHM and would have left PDN as the majority owner. So, if they want full ownership they need to pay a premium over that low amount. Just pro-rating up to USD547M is too simplistic.
So actually, there should be a "takeover premium" added to the fair value of $1bn.
The valuer has a lot to think about - if the valuation ends up being completed.
