Resistive Random-Access-Memory (ReRAM) is a very promising technology for embedded Non-Volatile memory, especially at the smaller process geometries. ReRAM is ~1000X faster and ~1000X lower power than Flash. Unlike other emerging memory technologies, and unlike other ReRAM implementations, Weebit’s ReRAM memory is made from the most common material in the semiconductor industry – Silicon Oxide (SiOx), which makes it very easy to manufacture and it can reach mass production faster and attain higher yields (working dies per wafer) faster.
