I'll (mostly) agree with you even if the others won't. This market action is a case of people taking DYOR to mean "watch and see if the share price goes up a lot" then the FOMO kicks in when it does.
I'll disagree on the "pure speculation" part. Mixed in with all the irrational decision making is the influence of investors who make calculated decisions. That is a factor in the share price at any given moment. Lucky for the FOMO buyers right now, the valuation still has a way to go before it catches up with a rational valuation.
