SP has followed a holding pattern for a couple of years now, mostly due to covid. If you look at Takeda, a major competitor, their profits have doubled since the relaxation of restrictions.
Takeda Pharmaceutical Co.'s third-quarter net profit rose sharply from the same period a year earlier due to stronger business growth and favorable foreign-exchange rates. The Japanese drugmaker said Thursday that net profit for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose to 119.14 billion yen ($923.9 million) from ¥57.77 billion.
Fairly safe to assume CSL will put in a good report in a week's time.
