Interesting that the media, along with many others, keep pushing the idea that renewables cannot provide baseload generation. While yes, "on face value" this is true, the concept of baseload power is outdated. With distributed renewables, distributed battery storage, current upgrades to the national grid (yes, make it national to NT & WA) and many consumers going "off-gird", we can actually make our energy supply MORE agile and MORE resilient to disasters.
But what would I know, I'm just an engineer not a politician.
Feeling more confident on the future of Infigen, definitely on my radar to add to my portfolio.
