you pay for your PVA and associated equipment. we all pay the same usage rates. and for the electricity we produce we are paid a pittance - way below the retail or wholesale energy price.

"is it fair" you ask? I ask is it fair that PVA owners should be paid a token rate of their solar energy?

really all you and I are doing is whingeing.

the real problem in our energy system is how its been politicised over 20 years. privatisation, handing massive profits to retail companies which only provide an opportunistic means of making money. and the generators also privatised in most states has resulted in poor maintenance and loss of production through more frequent turbine and boiler failures and breakdowns. and in between the creation of wholesale agencies which also need to profit.

lastly and most importantly is the privatisation of the energy grid, along with the creation of multiple QUANGOs to manage the grid, price everything evenly and plan for future development - ostensibly without govt input. creating even more "unfairness" and unnecessary complication.

bastjose you make a complaint that reads like a poor child whose lost something but don['t know what it is you lost... so you are looking for someone to blame. you need look no further than the last 9 yrs of LibNat rule.
