fairly safe bet?

The AWE situation is interesting; they are down again today, even after proving up Trefoil to significantly extend their resource base in Bass Strait. In my view the market is penalising AWE for not getting the gas to market on time. Awe has recently stated that the technical problems delaying the commissioning are relatively minor, were expected, and will be overcome. (read announcements). It seems that when the gas is commissioned (10% of all gas sold in Victoria (( AWE's share 30%)) and gas is a fixed price not affected by market fluctuations) a significant cash flow will come on stream and AWE will be re-rated. I would think that the technical problms would be overcome in no more than six weeks. Looks like a rare bird; the safe bet, little downside and good upside in under a few months.
I don't hold, preferring the more speculative BAS with my punting money but if I had some spare cash I would be looking at AWE.

I sometimes have trouble taking myself seriously so you should never.
