I have real concern for John Karantzis. The ATO has put a movement restraining order on him, and frozen his and his families funds all in the name of the fact that the ATO has assessed JK ~$10m primarily on shares he neither owns nor has he sold. I recognise the ATO has this right under current Australian law, but the ATO has not, in my opinion (and others) done its homework. Not knowing that ISXFEU is really ISXemoney renamed and then claiming that money (that has always been revenue in Cyprus) is Australian money being moved to Cyprus shows, at the very least, gross incompetence. The QC for ATO was visibly embarrassed.

John is separated from his family now with Christmas coming up. This is very very wrong.
