God has enabled so many creatures to come into existence by His marvellous process of evolution and He has made this wonderful revelation difficult to unlock so that the gaining of knowledge is slow and painstaking. When only one animal in every billion that has lived might leave some trace of itself it is a miracle and only by the grace of God that He has enabled us to find and then understand through His wonderful gift of science the process of evolution and our development within this miraculous system for bringing forth creatures.

Mr Gordon, firstly, intelligence is a measure. Your God is all knowing, remember. So intelligent design is blasphemous. Try All-knowing Creation. Nothing has ever evolved in any way that it was not prescribed to do so. We may never find the exact missing link because it requires a fossilised bone to remain intact and undisturbed for millions of years. It is almost impossible to follow the course of evolution through the fossil records in any one place because environmental conditions change faster than the process of evolution. So evolving creatures move out because of changing conditions and new animals move in and the fossil record looks as though it is jumping from animal to animal. The truth is the change in an animal is spread over continents. Places like Riversleigh had a constant environment for about 5 million years so the fossils laid down here show very clear evidence of evolution. You need fossil strata of about 5 million years to see the changes and there are maybe only a couple of places on the entire planet that offer such a unique window on the past.
Why are you so afraid that your God used evolution as His means to bring forth all of Creation and gave as the scientific wisdom to uncover this truth? Is it because the JWs would then have to disband and become something else. They've done before.
