As we saw yesterday on RNO, a few fake bids to the volume of 10-11m had been put up and taken down (at various prices), clearly trying to manipulate the sp.
As you're allowed to place trades without having the capital available immediately with Commsec, is there anything stopping the regular at-home trader from doing the same, other than the obvious risk involved that if somehow your order gets filled you'll be stuck with a huge amount to pay up?
