    A really good indicator for the DOW is the Russell 2000. It is comprised of small/mid US stocks and I have been trading it via Streetwise.

    HOWEVER it does give an indicator to the underyling recovery in the US market.

    Also SP500 remaining atop 1270 is bullish.
