G8 finance heads are scheduled for an emergency meeting this coming weekend - talk is of a concerted interest rate initiative - but no one knows what, if anything, they will come up with until they tell us themselves

nonetheless chances are they have to have 'better than bad news' if they are going to have anything to say at all

so just in anticipation of 'better than bad news' we could see a rally towards the end of the week as further speculation mounts about what options will be on the table for them to discuss
