For me its all about cost and quality just like any manufacturing company....
You need to produce the best product possible and I think BCE is the best and cleanest coal for the future. Coal almost as clean as gas and these numbers will continue to get better in the future IMO.
Its also about cost. Many thermal coal producers are already making loses at these prices and every year they are having to dig deeper to continue production. For Exergen/MNM, the BM project is expected to be much cheaper than a standard thermal coal producer from what I hear.
For me this says HUGE potential...
This BM project is a HUGE project and there are lots of hurdles like any large project. If/when Exergen get ALDP funds and proves the tech at LV, MNM will have the right to the Exergen tech at BM for the life of the project....IK is very smart.
MNM's smaller gold projects will not have the same earning potential but they could be cash flow positive much sooner, maybe even late 2014. All we need is a good outcome at Granite Castle/coronation and we can mine the surface high grade gold to generate some cash flow so hopefully we will not need to raise any cash through shareholders next year. Lots of variables but it looks like IK has a plan and he certainly has the experience to get it done.
I am still bullish Mt Mulligan and LV. Lots on the go and we are ticking boxes all the time. I bought MNM for the LT and I am very happy with progress.
Unfortunately, there is a big disconnect between the MNM projects(value) and the MNM SP but this is the market and this is why we buy and sell shares.....Buy when a stock is undervalued and sell when its overvalued?
I am looking FWD to news....
EXergen Prospectus and listing. ALDP news and S7 updates Gold drilling at several projects Mt Mulligan news BM drilling and demo plant construction at LV LV desktop study and possible JV Left field announcement
