My Falcon BA 2004 XT wagon with factory LPG (no petrol) has just failed roadworthy due 10 years since last gas tank inspection.I have been told by Ford they do not sell a new tank. Ditto told by Repco. I am quoted ~$700 to take out tank freight it to inspector get inspected, freight back and replace tank(car out of action ?days parked in some yard). Hence my query below re a wrecked option. I am having zero luck so far finding a wrecked LPG tank to suit my Falcon with 5 years or more of life left since last NSW inspection.Do any readers have experience of these issues to impart?
