We have a local gas tank tester here in southern vic., you can pull the tanks out yourself, find a nearby tester and take them in yourself. Shouldn't cost much more than a couple of hundred dollars. then either refit the tanks yourself and get a licensed fitter to reconnect the pipes, or reconnect them yourself and get them leak tested by a pro. (soapy water is often used to test joins for leaks).
