The 17th should be a high trade volume day. Most companies being rebalanced out of various indexes would probably decrease in SP on the 20th- their first day out of their various indexes.
I made several posts on this elsewhere. I concluded after looking at entities that have been rebalanced from the ASX200 in the last 12 months that most have since risen to above their pre-rebalance SP. Fundamentals and sentiment are more important in the long term than rebalancing.
Uranium stocks ran today. Gas will have its day.
